The Emco Hyperturn 65 Powermill G1 is a high-performance turning and milling centre designed for manufacturers requiring versatility in a single machine. This multitasking platform features a main spindle and counter spindle, each capable of independent 4-axis machining, plus an integrated milling spindle with B and Y-axis control for simultaneous 5-axis operations. The machine accommodates bar stock up to 65 mm diameter (expandable to 76.2/95 mm) and delivers spindle speeds reaching 5,000 RPM with substantial torque capacities of 250–360 Nm. The Hyperturn 65 excels at producing intricate components through its dual 40/80-slot tool magazines, support for 12–16 driven tools, and rapid axis movements up to 30 m/min. Its liquid-cooled spindle system ensures thermal stability critical for precision work, while both tool turrets can operate interchangeably on either spindle for maximum flexibility. Applications span threading, complex milling operations, grooving, deep-hole drilling, and multi-sided finishing in aerospace, medical device, and automotive manufacturing. Integrated with Siemens Sinumerik ONE CNC control and the EMCONNECT digital process assistant, the machine delivers advanced connectivity and real-time monitoring.
