The Emco Hyperturn 50 with BMT is a universal CNC turn-mill machine designed for economical production of intricate turned and milled components. It features two high-performance spindles capable of 0–7,000 RPM, dual 12-station tool turrets (expandable to 16 with the optional BMT turret), and a Y-axis with 80 mm travel for simultaneous multi-axis machining. The machine accommodates bar stock up to 51 mm diameter and can achieve a maximum turning diameter of 300 mm, making it suitable for diverse manufacturing applications. This machine excels in precision industries including medical technology, aerospace, automotive, and jewellery manufacturing. The BMT turret option provides enhanced milling capabilities with direct-drive technology reaching 12,000 RPM and delivering 21 Nm torque, ideal for complex parts with substantial milling requirements. Its compact design combines a significantly larger work area with space efficiency, while the two-piece base structure ensures high precision and thermal stability. The Hyperturn 50 integrates advanced CNC controls — either Siemens Sinumerik ONE or Fanuc 31i-B Plus — with the EMCONNECT digital process assistant for streamlined production management. Optional automation systems including swing loaders and pneumatic parts catchers maximise efficiency for small to medium-sized batch production.
